Planter - Reboot Robot Planter Made From A Martini Shaker With Cactus

I've had a pair of vintage sears 1950's drink shakers kicking around for the last year, and I knew in that creative part of my brain that I just had to save and transform them. Even through my annual freak-out-because-I-have-way-too-much-stuff cleaning spree, this pair made the cut and stayed. Finally, last week, I picked one up and immediately knew what I wanted him to look like and voila - a robot planter with a cactus! I love the alien feel that the cactus gives it, but if you don't, it's still in its plastic pot and can be swapped out :)

Want to know what the parts are? It's made from one of the shakers I mentioned above, a t shaped mending bar, a pair of header bolts, a handful of washers and nuts, and a little cactus I grew myself from another larger cactus I've had for years. All items were collected at thrifts stores, yard sales, and my local second hand building materials supply store (including the cactus, whose mama was a cutting from a friend!).
