Poker Table Lampshade

I am only showing photos of this lampshade prior to its installation because the client ignored my consultation and hung it incorrectly (and in a way i think looks terrible).

The design of this lampshade was customized according to the wishes of the client. The face on the King of Clubs was changed from its usual profile to the corncob smoking hillbilly that is one of the logos of Appalachian Stated University, which is the client's alma mater. On the other side of the lampshade, the Ace of Spades was changed to the Appalachian State "A" with the word "Mountaineers" in it, another one of the university's logos.

Here, I have made overlays out of zinc and lead and solder that have become the eyes and other facial features. Overlays that touch no other metal parts cannot be soldered in place, and so they are affixed with bits of very strong foam tape that is sticky on both sides or with glue.

The $8800 price tag did not include the cost of insured shipping or the cost of electrification (LED or incandescent), which is best done locally after successful shipping.
