This pair of knotty ponderosa pine bedside tables has bright and lively cabriolet legs which almost look as though, if they were animated, could dance across the room. The Romanesque arched skirts flow into the hand carved legs ending in delicate slipper feet. A double fillet is carved as a frame and shadow line running all the way around the arches legs and feet.
The top frames are mitered and capture a planked panel center with a bold molded, curving edge treatment. Each table is18" wide X 15" deep X 26" tall, with one cockbeaded, full depth storage drawer. Each drawer is constructed with dovetail joinery and solid plank bottoms. The two pieces are lightly distressed, stained, glazed and finished with low VOC acrylic lacquer and wax.
