Pottery Serving Bowl In Cream With Stripes Of Red Flowers
This serving bowl features gorgeous red stripes of flowers and makes a stunning centerpiece to any table.
The outside color of the bowl is the natural light cream of the bare stoneware clay. Underglaze decals of the flowers were added to the surface of the bisqued piece and then glaze fired.
The inside of the bowl is glazed in a bright shiny red. I added a shiny clear glaze to the entire surface to ensure food safety.
The piece is food safe. Due to its size, handwashing is recommended. The bowl measures 10 inches in diameter by 4 inches high.
The material is a stoneware clay which was fired in a electric kiln to cone 6.
