Award Winning Greene & Greene Gone Wild Nightstand
This table won what I like to call "Third Best New Artist" award at San Diego's prestigious Design in Wood show of 2014. "Novice" means only that I have not shown my work at the show previously. To see a GOOD PHOTO of this table and the competition that whipped it handily, go to:

Inspired by the Greene Brothers' famous arts & crafts style furniture, This single occasional table or nightstand is constructed from one board of quilted maple, hand cut into 1/8th inch veneers, which are book matched onto hard maple for the aprons and sequence matched onto Baltic birch plywood for the top. Legs and breadboard ends are bubinga and the accents are purpleheart. The table is finished with wet-sanded Watco Danish Oil and Satin Wax.
