This listing is for One (1) realistic glass red cherry sculpture. Many glass cherries are shown in the pictures so that you can see them from all angles and see the differences in color. You may purchase more than one by placing several into your shopping basket before checkout.

Your order will be carefully packaged with biodegradable plant fiber batting inside a 100% recycled paper gift box with a pretty red stretch bow.

Your life-sized Red Cherry sculpture will be about the size you would find in the grocery store - about 1 inch in diameter. Depending on the amount of sun they have received, red cherries can range from light red through deep red to almost black-red. You will be able to choose the color of each cherry sculpture as you put it in your shopping basket.

Your glass red cherry will have a speckled surface just like real ones do. I create the effect by applying a mixture of five different colors of powdered glass to the surface of the hot glass cherry. Each coat must be melted in smoothly before applying the next. Since no paint is used on the glass cherries, the color will not rub, flake or chip off. No two glass cherries are ever exactly alike.

I make each solid glass cherry sculpture one at a time by melting a rod of Italian glass onto a loop of 16-gauge copper wire. Because the loop is embedded in the glass, the wire can never be pulled free from the glass.
