Reclaimed White Oak Mid-Century Modern Matching End Tables

These End tables were made as a matching set for a customer who wanted a sofa and end table set.

Constructed of 100% reclaimed solid slow-growth quartersawn white oak with solid cherry risers.

I used cherry (also reclaimed from the same barn) as the risers for these tables as it is an extremely stable wood, in other words it will not change dimensions very much seasonally.

The wood is scattered with nail holes which are black around their perimeter as the nails were individually handmade out of Iron.

I purposefully left a few places of the wood showing the large circular cuts which show that this wood was milled using a water-powered circular saw. he construction is craftsmen style using all wood joinery (there is no metal in any part of these tables)

Dimensions are 24"Tall 19"Deep and 26" in width making them substantial pieces.

The look is a mix between mid-century and modern with an overall understated appeal.

The design is original.
