Reclaimed Wood Bench

Sturdy bench built of lumber reclaimed from a Detroit house. The wood shows its historic character and previous use, as small nail holes are visible on the top (see photo). The four legs are attached with dowels and hidden mortise and tenon joints. They reach the top of the bench to display bridle joints with walnut inlays. The subtle angles and simple forms give the piece a mid-century vibe, while the traditional joinery ensures it will last for generations.
Coated in linseed oil and finishing wax (not recommended for outdoors).
45.75" long, 16.25" wide, 17.25" tall.
