I picked up the materials for this project at a barn being torn down in Marshfield MA. This was a commissioned job for a condo in South Boston with a tiny kitchen and need for a smaller than standard eating space. This is a classic style of a tressel table and yet an original approach to finishing without having to re-antique it. 90% of the work done was all hand tools and very little use of modern day power equipment other than for joining the top and some sanding.

I am very proud of this project for it's sustainability and practical use of materials. This table is constructed of material over 160 years old and it gives me great pleasure to know it will be utilized and enjoyed for years to come :0)
