Natural Edge Burl Table
This is a rare Redwood Burl Slab table that we proudly refinished and restored.
This table is made from the burl of a coastal Redwood tree. A burl is a natural growth occurring in many varieties of tree. Often the burl contains beautiful figure which people tend to admire and desire as fine furniture in their homes and offices.
This particular burl was the size of a refrigerator when it was cut, though most burls are much smaller. This rare burl slab is 6 ft long and 6" thick cut from the original burl. This top placed on the natural Redwood stump makes for a stunning living room table, perfectly matching the natural wood interior of the home. The figure is lustrous and pronounced consisting of incredible fiery patterns and Redwood pips or 'eyes'.
