This is a replica of President Richard Nixon's desk while he was in office. It was commissioned by his Library in Yorba Linda, CA and is currently on display in one of his exhibits. It is solid African Mahogany and the top is a whopping 58" x 81". The original is the official Vice Presidents desk and being used by VP Biden. It is called the "Wilson Desk" and Nixon mistakenly thought it was President Wilson's desk and became attached to it while VP and when he became President had it moved to the Oval office. He later found out it was VP Wilson who had it made and was never used by Pres. Wilson. Nixon and Ford were the only Presidents to use it in the Oval office.
