Repurposed Rustic Jewelry Walnut Barn Wood Box

Repurposed Rustic Jewelry Walnut Barn wood Box

This sides are bonified barn wood that was torn off. The grain goes from the blackest of purple to sea of blacks and browns. The trim around the top lid was picked up literally out of the trash at a local flooring company. The bottom of the box is beautiful weathered Hickory as well as the Lid. This was pain staking work to get the box joints to fit as tight as they do as the barn wood is TOUGH to work with and make the tolerances just right for a box (a chair is hard enough).

LOOK at it shine, man alive it almost knocks your eyes out…this ones' a keeper.

You will also notice the finish work done on the interior of the box with "hand flocked" genuine wine colored suede…soft and FINISHED.

This has all the "looks" of old world/ old school craftsmanship. With all the character. You WILL NOT find another with fit and finish like this one as it IS a one of a kind. If you pulled this out of your grandparents barn you'd know thats where it originally came from---never guessing I made it yesterday...
