River Rock Table, Bench Or Headboard Trimmed With Brick Chips
What a a wonderful conversation piece for your home or garden! This 24 x 36" unique table was created using River Rock pebbles and outlined with Brick Chips right out of the driveway and adhered to a piece of treated plywood. Normally, the legs would be of something else, but this was made for a young lady who desired it to be tall to set a natural type basket arrangement beneath it for her foyer.
It is not grout or concrete, but we use the same strong adhesive we put on our Birdbaths, then sanded to a smooth finish, yet leaving the rustic, natural state of each rock or chip exposed on the other sides visible down in and around the crevices. It turned out so perfect. We also sealed it to a low gloss finish with Marine Urethane.
It takes several weeks to create such a table but, is well worth the wait. At present we are creating tables and benches out much stronger wood, 4 x 4 posts and completing them with pebble designs or mosaic pottery shard designs. Prices for each project will be different according to size and suggested art you desire.
