This project was for one of my most unique customers. The customer wanted a center console made for a 1967 chevelle in a style that is hard to describe in terms other than Mad Max assault utility. The main box is made of American Cherry wood. The metal work was all cut by hand in aluminum and stainless steel. all switches and gages are functional. Instrumentation includes a mil-spec radio unit, soviet altimeter, race tachometer with shift light, custom wiper switch and enclosure, and handcrafted aluminum arm rests upholstered in black leather. I'm including this piece because it gives and excellent example of our mixed media, multi-disciplinary approach to design and fabrication.
