This is an example of round table tops that Vince can make. Vince made several of these for a new local coffee and wine shop with a nautical theme. These tables are 24" diameter, 1 1/8" thick, with 1/16" inch thick custom made veneers on 1" thick Baltic birch core, with a 1 1/2" wide solid wenge rim. The central veneer disk is beautiful quilted maple, surrounded by a rim of wenge. The spoke veneers are an unusually interesting western walnut, alternating with a curly teak. The spokes are separated by a 1/32" wide stringing made of aspen. The underside of the table top is laminated with a similar veneer pattern as well in order to balance the bending forces. The tables are finished with a durable conversion varnish and rubbed out to a smooth surface.

Vince can build you any diameter table you want, in either circular or elliptical shape, with various patterns of your selection. A sunburst pattern with serial veneer slices is particularly nice. You can choose the species of solid wood rim as well.

Vince can provide you with a table-height pedestal, or coffee-table legs, or a bar-height pedestal.
