Griffin Weathervane

Griffin weathervane by David Smith. The sculpting of this griffin was featured on the Science Channel's popular TV series How It's Made (episode titled Copper Sculptures).
Sculpted in pure copper, features a rainbow patina created by using a torch. Approximately 23" length. (In the collection of John Dana, Portland, Maine.)
