Customer requested a rustic barn wood Bar for home use that was designed after a Bar used by his son. A couple of upgrades greatly improved the Bar, however, such as adding an alcohol-resistant, clear acrylic finish on the Bar top, and installing 3–pull out trays instead of shelves to store Bar essentials.
Also, the customer requested the front of the Bar to be lined with "weathered" corrugated sheet metal, which was found at a local farm & installed. Space was designed in the back of the Bar to hold a small refrigerator, and to complete the Bar, a metal foot rail was installed on the front & 2 sides of the Bar. The wood base was given 2 liberal coats of a satin polyurethane with uv protection.
No two Bars will be identical due to recycled wood, metal, and hardware, but will generally be similar in size & appearance. Contact the craftsman for unique design requests for a Bar, which may increase the total cost.
