I am very pleased with the timeliness, professionalism and quality of product in regard to my customized walnut vertical knife block. I very rarely provide product reviews, however Denny and his product impressed me so much I felt compelled to offer this review. I would not hesitate in contacting the Debner's for these custom products.
I was asked if I would make a very rustic knife block that also includes a side slot for a fork. This block also includes a slot for a pair of kitchen scissors. The uniqueness of this block is the use of bark, wormwood and a live edge piece of wood, all hand rubbed with a product that we make made of local beeswax and two other ingredients. This food safe product brings out the beauty of the bark and the wood grain.
The dimensions are 12 inches high and it is sloped at an angle. The front section supports the taller knife slot areas of the block and contains places for six steak knives.
