This long overdue project was to build a desk, file storage and shelves for our home office. The goal was to replace a wobbly, garage sale desk and piles of folders with a functional, stylish, custom setup. Problem solved and another to-do off the list.

All the pieces were constructed with rustic reclaimed barn wood. The desk is 96"L x 40"W with a very sturdy 4"x4" oak base. The file storage was custom-sized to fit under the desk and to provide access to files from above with additional storage below. A second shelf storage area was added to hold the printer and fax machine.
