Safari Chair 2

The New Mahogany / Walnut Safari Chair by Madshome

In the late 1800's to early 1900's, English Safari hunters used this style of chair when setting up camp on the African Savannah. The Army also found this chair useful because of the easy assembly and disassembly without tools. When disassembled, it would fit easily into a back-pack.

Now the chair has made it into our living-rooms, inhabiting more peaceful surroundings.

In the handmade Madshome version of the Safari chair, the frame can be made from solid Mahogany, Walnut or Oak. A high quality vinyl fabric is used for the seating which will look good inside and/or temporarily outside. Mahogany, Walnut and Oak are strong hardwood and the fabric will not deteriorate or get moldy.

Red/orange (as in photos), Black and Kiwi Green colors are available, but we can provide other selections upon request - please ask us if we can get the color you desire.
