Here are a couple versions of the same stool.
The black ones are dyed sapele with real leather upholstery and polished steel back supports. They were finished with a 2k automotive finish that was wet sanded and buffed to a mirror like sheen. The stools have limited turn seats that swing back to a fixed position when you get out of it. I made a set of 10 for a luxury yacht.
The other ones are the exact same wood and design just left natural with a conversion varnish finish. These stools were made with a solid wood spinning seat.
These stools or any other design can be fabricated in my shop fairly quickly.
Sapele is an African mahogany with a beautiful color and grain. It is a pretty good choice for any solid furniture because of its low cost and large sizes available.
