Sea Creature Sculpture With Pure Silver Details
The little silver spots are fired permanently into the glaze. He is a lovely shade of blue with some green accents. His spikes and horns are a metallic gold. He even has a silver beauty mark on his lip!
This cute monster is hand-sculpted from my favorite stoneware clay. After he dries, he gets his first trip through the kiln. Carefully, I apply the glazes to the ceramic sculpture and finally add the silver on at the very last. He makes a final trip through the kiln at over 2000 degrees.
As you can see, he came out absolutely beautiful!
This sea creature is 3 inches (7.62 cm) long, 2 inches (5.08 cm) wide and tall.
