Dining Table

Here is a view of the leg and apron intersection on a dining room table, showing how the tenoned end of the short apron passes through both the leg and the through tenon of the long apron to lock it. The short apron is then itself locked by the thin maple wedges tapped into it. This is an example of how the structural joinery can be made into beautiful detailing.
