Shaker Kitchen Cabinetry
This kitchen is basically in the Shaker style. However, the furniture feet on the cabinets and the back-lighted cutout valences would probably be a bit too dressy for the Shaker sect. I think those features give the kitchen a bit more elegance, don't you?
Most of the kitchen cabinets are in a painted finish. The cherry peninsula cabinets and cook-book bookcase provide a nice contrast. Butcher block counter top inserts in three different locations provide lots of food prep/cutting-board work area.
