Instead of a flat face frame, or a frame with bead molding, these are cut with matching shaper knives, resulting in a coped joint. (the frames are half lapped and coped for a strong and beautiful joint.)
The knee space apron is a linen fold carving attached to a three tiered drawer box. Unfortunately the detail of the carving doesn't show well in these pictures. Fun project for a nice client way back when!
