On our way home for summer after our Freshman year of college, I broke my best friend's bookshelf. Luckily, it was a cheap, simple one from Walmart and it gave me a project to work on.

Being an English major, she needed a lot of storage space and I wanted to make something that couldn't be replaced by going to a store. That led to this design, with an added flat shelf for a television, computer monitor, or display shelf.

Measuring 48" Long x 30" Tall x 12" Deep, this bookcase has a ton of storage while being anything but ordinary. Built from solid pine and finished with polyurethane, it's built to last as long as your books do. Dimensions and configuration can be customized to your liking.
