This quick easy design, made entirely from solid hardwood is both light and sturdy. The interlocking base joint is a bridle joint yielding significant structure while being easy to break down. This table can be disassembled and laid completely flat, allowing for easy storage, moving or shipping. The specific project shown was sold to a customer in San Diego, and the shipping cost was only about $150 from Seattle. The material is Santos Mahogany, a hard deep colorful European wood, commonly used for flooring, however I find the grain impeccable for furniture. A spray varnish finish adds lasting durability for even the toughest use. Specific dimensions and wood species shouldn't affect the cost much on this table. Again, shipping and assembly are very easy, so please don't hesitate to inquire if you are on the other side of the country.
