This was built for a customer to her specifications. It was designed to allow the customer to do jigsaw puzzles without having to disrupt the puzzle process. When needed, the top slides over the puzzle til the next time you desire to proceed.
The table measures 50 inches wide by 32 inches deep by 20 inches high. The shelf below the top is situated 2 1/4" below the sliding panel at the customers request.
The table is 100% walnut with a walnut dye stain and finished in General Finishes Arm-R-Seal Gloss. The glass is 1/4" thick to ensure greater strength for the top. The slides used in this project are from Rockler and are Centerline Over-Travel 100 lb. black slides. There is a bottom shelf for the storage of magazines, puzzles, etc.
