David made several great suggestions that improved on my original custom design. This was not for holding vials of essential oils, the vials hold rock samples taken every 10 feet from the surface down to 340 feet while we were drilling our well. The display shows an interesting variation of rock types at different depths. You'd have to be a geologist to really appreciate this display. Looks museum-grade. 5 stars all around!
This is a wonderful cabinet to go with the jewelry tower. It is made from solid figured cherry wood. The cabinet top measures 28 inches long, 15 inches wide and 7/8 inches thick.
The cabinet measures 27-1/8 inches tall, 26 inches wide and 14 inches deep. It has two doors with custom door pulls made to match the jewelry tower. Behind the doors are a shelf and a bottom panel.
The cabinet is finished with four coats of polished varnish.
