Urban-chic American Beech Dining Table

This Dining table was designed specifically for an apartment in the East Village, Manhattan - it provides an urban-chic function and style, while occupying a compact footprint. Striking and original to look at, the table showcases fine, honest materials in an airy, almost minimalist construction

The table top is a high-character slab of live-edged American Beech. It has exceptionally interesting sapwood borders, gorgeous graining heightened by color-tone variations, valleys and internal sculptures. it is finished with 3x sanding (taking the utmost care to retain its natural profile and features) and 3x applications of wood oil. The base is hand-bent steel with clean, fine lines finished in an oil-rubbed bronze

Although just 24" wide x 52" long it is a comfortable 4-seater and - at a stretch - an intimate 6-seater.

I build my tables with unique wood slabs. Although the top for your table will closely resemble the one in these images it will, by definition, not be the identical piece. How I work is to show your several slabs of equally high-character wood to choose from.

The price of the table will be somewhat variable with your choice of wood and with the dimensions you require, especially its width
