As per the customer's request, these stunning cherry Bedside Tables were custom made to match an existing Sunburst Headboard/Bed. After the design & details were worked out between the customer & maker, construction began. Constant communication between the customer & maker led to several design changes/additions: a solid 3/4" cherry back instead of the standard 1/4" cherry plywood back; solid cherry side panels & door panels with the grain running horizontally instead of vertically; a lower rail that is angled to match the same piece on the Sunburst Bed.
The doors are mounted on European-style hinges while both Bedside Tables were finished with a hand-rubbed mix of satin polyurethane & Danish wood oil.
