Customer requested a custom made cherry Coffee Table to match her other 7 individual pieces the craftsman had previously made for her. The cherry used to make the Coffee Table was actually obtained in an old barn close to the customer living in Ohio while the craftsman lives in Michigan.
Mortise & tenon joints were used throughout the Table, soft close full extension drawer slides were installed on the drawers, and a 50/50 mix of natural Danish oil & a satin polyurethane was applied to all surfaces with 2 coats & rubbed off. A light buffing with a top quality paste wax completed the finish.
