This detail photo shows a pasta bowl, one piece of a collection of dishes ordered as a wedding gift. The bride and groom had chosen china with turquoise, red, and amber in the design. We used ground glass in those colors to create unique complementary dishes--a candle-holder, small serving dishes, and a pair of pasta bowls. This combination fit the guest's budget, as would have other choices. We check the engaged couple's website and gift registries to determine colors and suggest pieces. This is a gift that will not be forgotten and may become an heirloom.
