Console table constructed of quarter-sawn and rift-sawn walnut. Both produce a strait grain, best shown in the table top. It works equally well as a standalone piece in a hallway or living room, or as a sofa table. Both the legs and the top are hand shaped to achieve curves that set them apart from machine produced work. Modifications/additions such as center slats or a shelf are possible.
