Steel And Wood Funeral Urn
The artwork is titled " The death of Pleasure".
At the college where I teach several of my favorite art classes were "de-funded until better times". I was having a hard time letting go of them emotionally since I had written the curriculum myself so I decided to make a funeral pyre to represent their loss.
This sculpture could be recreated as a catharsic piece for anything you want to let go of it or used as a ceremonial urn.
