These are original designs that are part of a line of jewelry that I have been working on. I enjoy the contrast of the deep yellow of the 18K gold against the white of the Argentium (a Sterling Silver alloy that contains Germanium, which helps to keep it from tarnishing). I also like to emphasize the contrast between the polished 18K accents and the scratched finish of the earrings.

The image illustrates the process of design and production, the original design didn't have the 18K strip, that was added as the design took form in creating the originals that became the basis for the "masters".
