Sunflower Hand Woven Shawl

While I was weaving his shawl I kept picturing the yellow Finches hanging and feeding from my sunflowers as they do every Fall.

This shawl was carefully woven by hand for your wearing pleasure. Need just a little something to keep the cool air off you - especially air conditioned offices, restaurants or just that cooloer evening air, this shawl will fill those needs.

The shawl measures 20" (51cm) by 70" (180cm) with hemstitching and a 5" fringe.

This special shawl was hand woven using a number of different yarns of cotton, rayon and silk slub to give it a wonderful softness and drape. To add splash and more color, I included recycled silk imported from Nepal. This silk was produced by a women's co-op that helps provide a safe environment and education for the women and their families.

The closure is a handmade pewter shawl pin and is included with purchase. Please let me know which design you prefer - Ginko Leaf or Spiral.

This shawl is an easy ware, easy care garment - can be hand washed in warm water and line dryed

I know you will enjoy this shawl for many years.
