Michael was receptive to our design needs and demonstrated care and consideration throughout the entire project, ultimately delivering on a beautiful, custom crafted bed. These are "tall" barstools ranging from 33" (floor to middle of seat) to 38" tall. They can be made from a variety of species such as you see in these photos but can also be constructed from many other wood species, domestic or exotic. The seats are 17" - 18" in diameter. The backs are ~8" above the top of the seat but can be customized to fit a specific need. All stools are finished with a hand-applied urethane (satin or gloss) or with clear lacquer.
These stools are completely customizable and can be made of any single or contrasting hardwoods.
Pricing is per stool. Choice of wood species can adjust final cost.

Mike (The Wood Hobbit) made our tall bar stools wonderfully. We have a bar area in our apartment that is much higher than a normal countertop, and he was able to adjust the design of the stools to ensure our stools are beautiful and sturdy. He sent us pictures of the process and consulted us when he realized the stools could use some extra stabilization. His work was thoughtful and thorough. He was flexible during the pandemnic about shipping arrangements, and ended up being able to ship quickly and efficiently with no problem at all.
Our stools are beautiful, clearly of excellent quality, and fit in perfectly with our space. More than happy with the value and quality of work!
