We stumbled across photos of Michael's work on custommade, and then reached out to him to see if he could create what we were looking for. Michael was receptive to our design needs and demonstrated care and consideration throughout the entire project, ultimately delivering on a beautiful, custom crafted bed. I can't say enough about this experience. I appreciate it!
This is a Tatami Platform Bed of Sapele (Mahogany) and Hard Maple. Unique to the Tatami bed are the interlocking rails in the notched legs making for a very strong and 'squeak' free bed. This particular bed holds a queen sized mattress but any size is possible.
