This was a custom build I did awhile back, and it was such a fun interesting build that I decided to put in in my production line. Condensed, this dining Table is a mere 21'' x 90'', taking up very little space. Have Company? Easily raise the drop leaf and have a full 40'' x 90'' Dining Table.
Table features a full 8/4 drop leaf, wood hinged table legs, and a unique cross bar that gives plenty of room for even long legged knees. Table is very stable while lifting the drop leaf, it has absolutely no tendency to fall forward, because of the way I have designed the legs. When the drop leaf is extended and the legs pulled out for support, The then center feet are actually lifted off the ground so that only the outer feet touch the ground. This gives four points of contact to the floor instead of six, which eliminates any wobble in the table. In fact, when the table is extended, you would never it has the ability to fold in half, unless of coarse you already knew.
