This alternative take on a shelf consists of a single slab, joined at right angles, with a continuous natural edge along its length. It adds an organic feel to a clean, modern shelf unit.

The shelf pictured in the thumbnail was made from salvaged natural-edge Big Leaf Maple, and measures: 27"L x 7"deep x 8" in overall height. Recessed keyhole-style brackets make mounting fast and simple.

The non-toxic finish is highly durable, responsibly produced, and even surpasses current US safety ratings for children's toys. It is highly resistant to wine, beer, cola, coffee, tea, fruit juices, and water. This makes product care simple and easy. In most cases all that's needed is an occasional wipe-down with a soft cloth dampened with water. A detailed finish description is available on request.
