Three Lock Box
A dear friend and customer of mine, came to me with a problem. Her father had just departed and she needed a place to store his ashes until her mother went to meet him.
He had loved the ocean his entire life, so this box was made in the mariners' tradition of a captain's three-lock box.
The box is made of walnut with fiddleback, maple inset into the corners, decorative hand-made nails, lined in royal blue felt and there is a compartment to retain the keys when not in use.
The lid (which is completely removable) has a sliding/ locking dove-tail and three locks to hold it on.
