Custom made Titanic vintage inspired hat made in sinamay with wide slopping brim in pale green with jewel toned in teal blue and emerald green details accented with just a hint of burgundy red.
This hat is handmade where I shaped the crown over a vintage wooden hat block. The brim was then hand shaped for a 1900's vintage look. The crown and brim have been covered in a floral designed lace in a pale shade of sea foam green. I used a wide emerald green lace trim and placed it around the brim and crown. Taffeta was used to create a lustrous band for the crown and a flounce to set off the large lifelike burgundy rose. The hat is finished off with dark teal green ostrich feathers for a Titanic era look. A wonderful vintage style elegant hat to wear at Edwardian Victorian events, wedding or a garden tea. A perfect accessory to a vintage event.
