Traditional Curly Cherry Coffee Table
This is a piece we made for a customer who requested a traditional cherry coffee table for their living room. It consists of several curly cherry boards joined together for the top using biscuit joinery. It was sanded smooth and cut to the requested side of 36" in length and 28" wide. A custom edge profile was cut using our router table to give it a perfect traditional look. This table boasts four legs made from African Mahogany that are 3" thick and 23" in height. The support frame was also created using 2" thick African Mahogany. Three coats of a Red Mahogany stain was applied to give it a deep crimson color. Lastly, we applied three coats of water based polyurethane for a beautiful mirror like appearance. It truly became the heart of this customer's living room.
