A serving tray with copper or steel hammered handles, or other custom made handles is a fabulous gift for yourself or for a wedding or anniversary!

I enjoy creating custom handles to fit the serving trays. Metal can be shaped in so many ways, and I am trained in metal fabrication and casting. I have done a decent amount of hollowware work, and these simple hammered copper handles are just scratching the surface. For some reason all of these boards are made from mostly albino (sap) walnut wood with the dark heartwood shown on one of the boards.

Let me know what kind of wood you prefer, or what idea you have for a handle! Unique serving trays are made to your personal needs and it helps me to help you if you let me know what you would love to see in a serving tray.

Let me know what you would like by clicking on the "Contact Maker" button and describing your idea the best you can. We can collaborate on your next serving board together! The current images show hammered copper handles, but the handles could be wood, steel, brass, bronze, copper, or perhaps even precious metals such as platinum, silver or gold.

Serving trays with handles will be in the $250 range, and will go up from here depending on size and other requirements and how much finish is required.

My normal time frame to make these is around 5-6 weeks +/-. If you need something quickly and just need me to send you a board I may have in the studio, let me know what you desire below and that you need it quickly and If available I will choose something nice, snap a pic and once you approve, send it out to you!
