"Leprechaun" , 2009, Fused Bullseye Glass Panel on Wood Frame, 20" x 17" x 3"
This panel is an original work that I made as I was fine tuning my use of powdered colored glass fusing back in 2009. "Leprechaun" illustrates my interest in abstracting found images and discovering unintentional forms within the composition. I originally called this piece "Stick Up", until one day my daughter was looking at it and pointed out that there seemed to be the silhouette of a leprechaun on the gun. I changed the name immediately.
Leprechaun is mounted in a deep wood frame for added impact and is easily installed on to vertical surfaces with a simple nail or screw.
