There's just something about softening the hard edge of a t-rex with gold polka dots that just tickles me no end. This guy came from a bunch of toys that the mother of 5 boys was selling at a yard sale and my goodness they had been well loved! In the years I've been making planters from used toys, I've seen that kids love coloring in dinos with marker, and this was no exception. It was a brown, yellow, and green nightmare! But now, several cleanings and coats of primer, paint, and sealer, it's ready to live a new life.

This air plant is incredibly easy to care for. It doesn't require soil, so it's simply placed in the planter but can be removed and changed out at any time. Tillandsia absorb water through their leaves, so it just needs to be run under the faucet once or twice a week and put near bright filtered light. I include a care sheet with each plant and am always available to answer questions :)
