Very strong and sturdy, the cane handle is made of Tigerwood (Concalo Alves), African Blackwood, and shaft is Brazilian cherry. The cane measures 36" in length and the handle has a comfortable feel in the palm of the hand (handle measures 6" length, 1 " width, 2" height).
Wood color is natural and the top coat finish is tung oil and oil varnish. The rubber tip size (3/4"), replacements may be found at drug or medical supply stores.
The handle and straight shaft are joined with mortise and tenon which extends 1 3/4" into the handle. #82
* This cane is a little thinner than I normally make so it may be best for average weight persons.
