Walnut And Elm Burl Live Edge Slab Bed
This King Size Bed was designed and made for a local couple who wanted to utilize live edge in the designs of their bedroom furniture but did not want it to look like "cabin" furniture. The curvy Walnut posts achieve a look of elegance and refinement as well as a friendly character.
The Elm Burl Slabs are what really made this project. Originally we were thinking of using some quartersawn white oak slabs, but I happened to be at my families mill unstacking slabs from the kiln and i came across these... I knew they were just the thing to make this bed spectacular!
Can be made in any size and in any wood combo.
