Walnut Child's Seating And Storage Area

This was made for a friend's newborn grandson. It is 41" wide by 30" high by 16" deep. The little seating area is 14" from the floor, the recessed backboard is 24" wide by 22" high. The three storage areas are 13" wide by approximately 7" high. The bottom area is for toys or shoes and is 12" high by 24" wide. The little figure shown is in the seating area and was naturally occurring in the walnut. The lumber for this was from a 130 year old walnut tree that we harvested in Lincoln, New Mexico. Tree had been dead 5 years. The blue pottery buttons on the back were purchased from and handmade by White Oaks Pottery in White Oaks, New Mexico.
